It should all have been so easy!. Kev and Jim decided ages ago they were going as Mummys and my friend had given me an unwanted bolt of white fabric.
Doris had a plan. Easy Peasy.
I would show you the pictures but have not yet figured out how to get my memory card into this new [...]

No More Kisses For Me.
Jim refuses to kiss me in public anymore.
Claims it’s a gaikokujin ( foreigner) practice.
Wants us to blend better.
Inside the house is okay, but no more goodbye kisses on the doorstep when he leaves for school.
No more ‘hello’ kisses when I pick him up from school.
Life must be tough with a weird foreign parent.

Morning Joy.
So my friend and I are still doing our morning walks, this is week three. It is surprisingly enjoyable. I thought it would soon become a chore and I would see it as a waste of time, valuable time that could be spent watching The Shield which AXN is so kindly re-running right from the [...]

Pumpkin Heads and Strips of Cloth.
How I love a free day.
Morning walk, then blitz my house, then shopping for food for tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are having a get together for friends from an online group, a couple of whom I have met before, the rest not, I have only their online personas and fake names to go on. Should be interesting.
I [...]

Face/Off
Scientist doctors have perfected a revolutionary technique made famous in the John Travolta/ Nick Cage film, whereby they transplant faces.
They have crept into my house in the dead of night and performed this proceedure on my two young sons.
Suddenly Jim, previously Mr Happy, sunshine of my life, walnut on my whip has turned into a [...]

MacChoices
Going for lunch today with an old friend who is a Big Mac fan, not the horrible burger flipping corporate crap Big Macs, more the Mac Vs Windows type fan, so hopefully he can clarify some things for me and point me in the right direction.
The chicklets were out the door on time, all in [...]

Shoot me now!
After spending lunchtime at the neighbourhood BBQ, which about 50 people attended, and two women with small children and myself were the only people under the age of 80, I wandered home stuffed to the gilld and contemplated my ‘To Do’ list.
It inspired me to grab a blanket and lie down on the sofa just [...]
