Absolutely torrential rain this afternoon, thunder, lightning, the works. The temp has now dropped a little and hopefully I can stay alseep past 4.a.m.
I even had to have a little power nap this arvo, I was so tired from the sweat drenched 4.a.m. wake up foloowed by the restless doze with nightmares for an hour until The Man’s alarm clock goes off scaring me half to death.
The rain meant the kids couldn’t go to the pool.
Then the wierdest thing happened, after Doris had whipped out some kind of sophisticated rain testing equipment and informed us that it was highly acidic, the four chicklets, yes all four, sat on the sofa together and played games. Not computer generated games with digital images, but I-spy and Uno, all of them on the sofa, laughing and joking like they have a parent in common or something!
